Inside a broken mirror she sees a broken refelection of herself
A person who once was but will never again become
Her fate tonight lies in the hands of the angel of death
Words flow from her mouth but never make a sound
Her tears show her struggle - streaking down her face

Once upon a time she was one who was something
Her plan set out in front of her but crumbled in the end
Emotional restraints cause her to become a prisioner of love
Dew soaked flowers once meant peace and faith for her
Now the flowers have wilted and all has gone ashore

The sparkle in her eye has faded into a dull gleam
Her arms embrace nothing but air - there's nothing to be seen
The writing on the wall was lies because it meant nothing inside
On wings of an angel she did not fall but fell right into pain
One day again she may be able to feel warm breath against her cheek

The empty finger which once wore a circle of promise
It's now bear and empty meaning nothing to her at all
Dreams long forgotten about a life that once was
Perfect in any way possible to immagine - It was bliss
Words on many pages now schorched to ash and dust

Once she was a princess - Fair and loving and warm
Pain filled her heart one day and it crumbled her life to hell
Nothing hurts more than to lose the one you once thought as your own
Saved by salvation was never a option but a fading light was
Broken again she fell on her bed and wished for nothing at all
