Her mind de-railed so suddenly
Just like a train torn off its track
Mascara too thick was streaked
Traveling down her face with tears
She fell back on wings of desire
Hoping not to slip and fall again
Ringing out through the night
- her scream
Embedded in his soul forever
- her pain
Lost in time because of him
- her innocence
Naked like the day she was born
- she fell
The roses on her dresser became faded
As the days eventually turned into fall
A bed not slept in for days laid un-made
No one has heard from her in days
Beaten and locked away inside herself
Her pain keeps her trapped deep down
Steps echoed inside her mind
- she flinched
The family she left behind
- never forgotten
Echo's of lullabies enchanting
- they danced
Drowning in a blaze of lies
- she burned
