sticky and sweet,
its nectar slithers down my chin,
the evisceration complete
I slowly retract darkened fangs,
savoring the feel of lifeless flesh
and the sumptuous aroma of death
emanating from the form before me.
dusk settles into the ebony arms of my night
concealing in shadow
that which, for pleasure,
I tormented
and tainted.
at my feet
the discord of my lust
lies evident and prostrate
aerating the still hungry spark within,
cajoling me to seep into old haunts
tepid from my long hiatus.
the stalking dawn shivers
bleak on the horizon,
a known lier
forcing me back to the mool,
the flavour of essences,
now entombed,
glazing my discarnate grin.
another eve will fall,
pouring seductive nuances
into my languorous senses,
waking me from undulating sleep
to fill my ravenous maw
with nectar sweet.
