Dying reproachfully
In the shame of doubt
I cast aside
Ethereal thoughts
For possession of the
Mindless waste.
-forever gone,
forever grieving,
nothing is deceiving
when all is lost-
Down I sink
Lower in despair
My ennui mingling
With neurosis
Clouding my thoughts
With pasty existence.
Never questioning
The promises
I made myself
Into believing
The lies of
Such painful thoughts

I scorn it all
Everything I had
Can now decay
Shutting itself off
To wither
In the bitter darkness.
Embracing the mantle
Of my hopelessness
Squandering the last
Precious moments
Of betrayed existence
With dejected apathy.

Dying reproachfully
In the shadows of my fear
I wake not to
Perpetual estrangement
But to fleetingness of
Endless night.
