pretty little leaves
she always liked
pretty little leaves
floating down airscapes
until lost
in the abyss of self-
loathing my antiquities
so frail
in the evening
light on the air
pretty little leaves
red and green and
gold as the morning
sun is overshadowed
as nighttime presses
closer than your hand
clasped in mine
for protection
as we watch them fall
pretty little leaves
like ignorant muses
that inspired me to act
most hellishly
upon them all

your cough is worse
worse than the blanket
of evil
I laid acorss
the air for you
so we could watch
pretty little leaves
so elegant at first
turn dark and cold
as death
they fell for you
my pretty little Leaf
