Hello everyone. My name is Chris and writing poetry is something i do fairly regularly. It's more to me than just a freetime thing, i see it as an active form of expression as valid and serious as any art - music, visual, etc. This site has a fun environment and i would like to think i have something to contribute. Some of my major poetric, lyrical, or literary influences include dylan thomas, e.e. cummings, allen ginsberg, emily dickinson, ogden nash, herbert brun, leonard cohen, morrissey, tim kinsella, joanna newsom, and of course many others.
