The Words
Falling Short Of Expectation
Seem Inadequate
I Write
Unable to Absolve Myself Of This
Emotional Turmoil
That All Too Familliar Sorrow
Forbare The Tragedy
Inadequacies of man
And Relish In Knowing
This World
Though Droll And Outdated
Is All We Have
Our Humanity
The Only Flaw We Seem To Posses
Our Skills
thoughts
troubles
They Mean Nothing
The World Will Continue With Or Without Our Help
Its Sad Really
To Come To The Realization That Life
In Essence
Serves No Purpose
All Our Efforts
Our Life Long Ambitions
Fall Short
Unable To Grasp The Concept So Many Overlook

Time Is Fleeting

And With It,
Abates Our Legacy

This is painful because I am right there. Why even write, when 'life serves no purpose'? I know why... but it still pisses me off!

The point that there is no point isn't lost on me. I feel the same way. The water is all a mirage.
