bleeding syllables
drip
from my lips
and they tell me
I'm going to be okay
heart-stitches
rip
fading.pulse
the stars seem to cry with me
when I mouth the empty words
you want to hear
-I'm always okay-
drink until I cant breathe
slurred words
escape my mouth
and I tell them all lies
hollow smiles grace my face
as once again
I tell them
.im.always.fine
.
.
.
how many ways
do I have to rip myself open
to show you that this time
I'm.not.going.to.be.okay.
