Your eyes glimer like beautiful jewels
And silky smooth hair to match
But that smile...
No that smile has to go

A face worthy of a great sculpting
An intoxicating personality
But when I come off my high
It leaves me in pieces

Crimson red lips
Sweeter than pure honey
And that tongue
A venomous stinger

Tell me you love me
Hold me tight forever
I need it...
I need the lie

Give me hope
A tomorrow to look onto
Sweet candy on my lips
But its only temporary

So love me
Hold me
Please... just a little longer
I need the lie... more than ever
I need that fix...

we all need a fix and I like the contrasting sweet tastes of the poem with the more bitter reality, if not an instant fav, certainly more cut throat and foward..not half bad. Col.
