happy and broken

Blessing my dreams and touching my heart
We were once together, but now apart
Tear the sin from my body to make me clean
To make it beautiful, but only for your eyes to be seen
Wrestle the demon inside my head

Lay it to rest so no blood is sheed
Updigging the truth and showing it all
Build me up strong so you won't fall
Today is the day where I make my stand
What I make is for you so take it in your hand
Care for it and cheerish it forver
I can help make you happy when we're together
Not until I am made anew
Happy with myself and good enough for you
All it takes is just a little time
Maybe when its done we can call each other mine
So until that happy day stay by me
I'll find myself and we can both try to be
Be has one like it should of been from the start
In each other's arms we'll never part

All these words were only in vain... the love and feelings once had just a shadow now. maybe one day I'll have her back maybe one day I'll know I never will. until that day I may look happy, but inside its all the same... a broken mess just trying to be fixed.
