Fierce Deva

~ Litteratus ~

Fierce Deva

"While they [non-tantric philosophers] were alive they cast abuse at the tantras and could not accomodate them in their minds; they did not know the tantric deities, therefore they could not recognize them in the bardo either. Suddenly seeing something they have never seen before, they think of it as an enemy and feel aggression toward it, and as a result they go to the lower realms."
