      (Original Spanish version-down for English)

                     Supongo

                     Supongo...

         (English translation-not the original)

                     I suppose
                   (I suppose so)
I suppose that I suppose thus
I suppose that I eat the words of you
I suppose that you eat the beliefs of me
I suppose that they nurture the illusions of us
I suppose that we are dipthongs in the Word of God
I suppose that we rise and fall with His desires
                   (I suppose not)
                     I suppose...

                     I suppose
                I suppose that I am
(I suppose that I am supposing that)
I suppose that I am as much as this table
I suppose so that I am able to bear my weight
I suppose that my being is fading to nothing
I suppose that ether is the one thing innate
I suppose that finity alone is known
(I suppose that it is not)
                     I suppose...

                     I suppose
(I suppose that I must with faith)
I suppose that I live in mist always
I suppose that the cradle holds the final key
I suppose that the grave opens to a vortex
I suppose that something uncertain hunts me
I suppose that it tramples the whisper of the desert
I suppose that I deny a world badly supposed
(I suppose that it is done)
                     I suppose...
