Summer day, brightened smile,
She made him run that extra mile
The wonder, the wonder all the while
The glow, the drinking of love’s beguile
So far…so long…but beneath the Nile
Hearts were sent
Isis, Osiris, save this heart,
It is incensed, hell bent
Sucking out the love crisp and tart
With Such harsh words
Non~stopping, so twisting, narcissi sting
But soon, out came blue birds,
Rain spilled, sorrow and love were kissing
It was a melancholy smile
Beneath that sacrificed mile
The wonder, the wonder all the while
Oh where, where is loves beguile
So thirsty, it has drunk the lovely Nile
Vague and lucid gapes hell
Spent is the flower of sun smile
~’Twas her words crisp and tart
~’Twas his words crisp and tart
Drying that full well
Of feeling~
But time will only tell
It will heal, the crushed heart
