i am decidedly uncool.

i am a Goth who wears colors.
i am on the West Coast but i don't smoke pot.
i am responsible and on time.
i have a job.
i LIKE my job.
i have planned for my future.
i have no desire for substance abuse.
i like to schedule my time.
i ask my lover if it's ok if i fuck someone else, instead of assuming/cheating.
i prefer reading books to watching tv.
i rarely play video games.
i don't hang out with people who use drugs often.
i don't compare my lovers and make them feel like my love is a competition they stand to win or lose.
i don't wear what's trendy... i wear what fits.
i don't tend to drink.
when i do drink, i never get trashed.
i am not up on the latest indie music.
i don't go to concerts.
i don't believe in Satan.
i care about politics enough to vote.
i don't go to parties where the cops need to come by.
i have sex maybe twice a week.

yes.
i am definitely not cool.
but you know what?
i'm ok with that.
