i want nothing more than to pretend nothing ever happened
and that the pink elephant of our relationship never came to the party.
unfortunately, however, you invited it in, and it's been sitting
in my living room, eating all my peanuts, for almost two months...
that's a little long, and a little difficult to ignore. and now
now that you've come back, i feel it's only right that you and i sit
and discuss what exactly we're going to do about this issue.

my rent doesn't cover an elephant.
my insurance doesn't cover an extra day of therapy.
my heart doesn't cover what i should do next.

elephants, pink or otherwise, however
do not make good housemates- and
it's about time we showed it the door.

I LOVE this... I kept thinking that it would be humorous... but it was still kinda painful... even about pink elephants. You've done something unique here and I like it. Alot. -Glass
