I don't know why

I never will

standing by

searching for the words to make it spill

the perfect torent

of unspoken lie

does our wanting warrant

saying goodbye

on a search for truth

watching the sky

we spend our youth

thinking we'll learn how to fly

and what do you say

waking up without the strength to pray

will we regret the years spent

now discontent

unable to find

the key to the mysteries of our own mind
