You've never screamed at me like that.
Please forgive me.
I only needed to know you're not what she thinks you are.
Now I know
Why I'm so afraid
Of being wrong.

No one ever made me wish
That I was dead...
But you're something apart from this world.
The old rules are shifting.

Make me deaf with your whispers,
Your secrets I don't want to know but can't ignore.
I want to be oblivious
Rather than share this silence with you.
The quiet speaks volumes more than we do.
