I was ignored,
But I soon forgot it.
Was that what you intended?
There is no greater power
Than showing off this secret,
The one who no one understands.
Should I tell them all?
No...let's keep this under our skin.

I was so lost,
Alone in a sea of conversation,
Of meaningless ramblings
Of paper and sonnets.
Staring through the empty doorway
At the writings on the wall.
How was I to know I would have company among them,
After my mourning the loss of new words?
Somehow they found you,
Calling me,
Thinking too far ahead,
Sure, I'll forgive you.
What's a missed call or two?
You've inspired me once again,
Four minutes to capture the beauty
Of this divine intervention.
