Stomach turning on a stand-still roller coaster.
Stuck on the hill,
I've got nothing to get me going,
And I feel the chains breaking.
This ride's been called
On account of rain,
Hanging overhead,
Less tangible than the hatred that refuses to move.

What did I ever do?
I know what she said...
Please tell me she's wrong,
But don't you use that tone with me.
What did I do...?

One step back,
You're all that's left for me.
