A sunny day sounded
Like a gunshot
As we made our way to that house
Dusty
Accompanied by the glass bottles all around
Reflected broken windows and ivy
A dying cistern
A fragment of familiarity nearly invisible
A ghost of dirt and fabric
Still waiting for someone to come home
