As I was going over
The mountain range in Cork
I spied on Captain Farley
And his company o' gents

(chorus)
Musha ringum duram da
Musha ringum duram da
Whack fol the daddy o
Whack fol the daddy o
There's whiskey in the jar

They were sleepin' by the stream
And dreamin goodly dreams
So quick I drew me rapier
And relieved them of their gold singin'

(chorus)

With great haste I hurried home
And showed mew golden riches
To my darling lady Brady
And we embraced as we often did before

(chorus)

They sing that love is blind
But I never did expect
My girl woul steal 'way my rapier
And ready Farely for the slaughter

(chorus)

He came upon me whilst I slept
And took me to the county jail
Where now I sit
And sing my song...

(chorus)

If I could find me brothers in the army
Be they in Galloway to Kilarny
We'd spend the day a fishin' and a drinkin'
All the while singin'

(chorus)
(chorus)

*Ok, Whiskey In the Jar is a traditional Irish drinking tune with a lot of variations out there. This my contribution*
