Angel eyes, they shine
And glimmer with a light
That comes from deep within
Their gloden, glowing breast.
Angel eyes do one thing best,
They scintillate like stars.

Your eyes, my dear,
Were milky, clouded over.
You could not see thelove
That we all have for you.
There are those who'd have you blind
those hatful, hurtful few.
Whose words form cataracts of pain.

But we, your friends are healers
And in our craft we're skilled.
At least I hope we are
For I'd to see thine eyes
Because in my heart I've seen them shine,
Your special eyes, your angel eyes.
