Never have I felt
So cold in soul
As I do now.
Standing here,
Not letting go.
So far from me
And yet so dear.
But I must go on
And cling to hope
For a future bright and clear.
We dared not think
That you would leave us
So soon in life, so just begun.
Please sleep now, please sleep deep.
Slumber in heaven, your eternal rest.
