Bright are the stars that shine
in someone elses sky
I was certain that the truth
was in a place
that kept alluding me
but every stone unturned
would only serve
to prove
that I never had to move
tending to a garden
scorched by sun
thirsting
green is the grass that grows
some where else
my colors
faded into someone elses
rainbow
I am here
within
but what I see
is the warped
photograph
melting
of
something
brighter
one can have everything
and lose it all
in an instant
but the memory
of something
brighter
will never fade
color me
something better
than I am
today
may I never
fade
flicker
and
go
out
