One day
I just want to fall
not having to worry
about the ground
coming up to
hit me
but life is full of
unknown obstacles
All I have are pillow smiles
and ceiling designs
ghost touches
and drive by
flash backs
a shoot out
of my heart
I want to walk in my garden
without having to pick out the weeds
I want love
marked without labels
I want to dance
to the beat of a beautiful
heart
and paint a picture
in my minds eye
with my lips
Without a care
of who is behind me
ever watchful
perched
Vultures of life
waiting for me to lay exhausted
in the sun
swooping
to pluck the flesh from
my mortality
leaving my soul
exposed
but my hands are tied
For now...
