Blue eyes
shed crimson tears.
Survey her,
study her.

Torment and pain
linger in once-vivid blue eyes.
Crimson tears leave a path
of solid color down her cheeks.

The angel tries to get away,
but her wings are badly torn
apart by unmerciful hands.
She's crying her own blood.

Witness her sad smile
combined with her soft voice
repeating she'll be fine.
Her eyes betray the lie.

Listen to her heart break,
watch helplessly as she falls apart
unable to stand anymore.
On her own, she's lost.

Don't tarry near
the pieces of her broken heart.
They'll stay there
for forever and always.

She thought he was the one
she wanted, ever after.
But he just ripped out
her heart and soul.

On a broken sigh
she is alone again,
left with nothing.
How very familiar.

Go ahead, she screams.
GO ahead and leave,
you're just like everyone
told me you were.
I loved you, so I ignored
their words of wisdom
and went on loving blindly.

A broken angel,
she stands
still not completely broken.
Strong she will be.

Alone she stands,
as it's meant to be [or so it seems].
Crimson tears of her blood
escaping her body through her tears.

I wish I could say I never loved you,
she thought desperately.
But I did,
and I still do.

IT'S a condemnation.... to beleive in something other then the marks we've placed on our body, crying in blood and empowered by the pain we can now feel..........LOVE IT
