Far beyond these walls that shelter me,
these walls that surround me and keep me from harm,
the night sky is set ablaze:
A litany of shooting stars
is raining down from heaven's brawl.
I don't see the sudden sparkle
I don't gasp in pure delight
I can't grasp this simple pleasure
As all I do is sleep at night.
