It can be lonely
Being
The only star
In some one’s sky
But if it is your nature
You will shine
Because that is what you do
Just be.
Even when your darkness
Feels swallowed
By their own
You burn from within
And keep them warm
Safe from harm
And when their glowing ember
Is too frail to fan
You must whisper
Encouragement
And selfless endless love
Because
They have no self at their end
Let them stand on your leg
For you are their last
And carry them
On
Never let yourself think
That being your Self is a burden
Just be.
It will be okay
And when their light recovers
Feeding It’s Self
Your world will be much brighter
Than before
And you
Will
Still be.
