Together with my worries
And taunted
I howled my displeasure
The moon had stolen my pride
Ran off into the night
Hand in hand
And in a selfish, jealous act
I swallowed the lunar thief
Washed it down with bitter tears
Leaving lovers everywhere
In darkness
And me
In woe
