I murdered you.
Drowned in a pool of stagnant dreams
Your body half buried in the murky puddle
Vicious and unprovoked
A dream a thousand times over can be a nightmare
It was necessary
Again and again and again
I know. I know.
There are no happy endings
For me
A sick, sick person damned to love
To your dead, bloated, heartless body
Your scales have all fallen off
Leaving you glimmer-less
And yes, mine eyes have grown cloudy
In deep dark sockets that retract into my fucked up head
You have sucked the marrow from my long, long bones
Like a starved addict not knowing what he truly is
My salt is all that is left
To pour you away
Bitter, bitter friend
Drink up.
