He took
The trouble
From your eyes
When he took you
From me
Treating his meaty hands
He found his way in and out
Leaving behind
The rest of my
Abhorrentlly fat life
And I felt ugly
When he told me I was
Serves me right
For listening
With an emaciated heart
I loved him
For leaving
But you
I can no longer look at you
Without seeing
My own sins.
