redefined
I extinguish
the holy light
Burying
The long white candle
I’ve carried
Too, too long
I will not be good
Too often
To be tread upon
It isn’t that I’m tired of falling
Just tired
Of getting back up
Let me lay
Yes, sleep away
The damned
Throbbing pain
Perhaps
To dream
I am someone
Besides
Myself
On this perpetual loop

a heartfelt weariness... to strive and attempt to rise time and again... the deep sullen tone breaks the heart... the world needs reslient brightness but it is so hard to keep faith after so many struggles... take rest but do not let go of hope... an achingly lovely piece
