Wasteland of a User

Gave into addiction
Fourth time this week
Can't escape life's ambition
Or the deathly thrills I seek

Officially an addict
Rocked up, dope sick loser
Kicked everything but the habit
The wasteland of a user

Feel like death for days
Swear it off for a few
Wake up to the pain
Craving the abuse

Cheated with the devil's drug
Thrown out on the street
Chose the high over love
Ignorant to defeat

Devoid of value and worth
A burden in my home
Doesn't matter who I hurt
Just wanna die alone
