I am the worm you trod,
Incipit, into the concrete;
Passing by your side:
The hills shall revere.

Something all together
Gruesome wanes
By your candlelight.

It is the emblazoned crimson:
Flout from countless bodies
Strewn across your front lawn;
Heralding the wilderness;

Where we all die
A moment at a time,
Forever in regret.

I'd be happier to take compliments like this off people if I didn't know everyone was going to turn around and say the exact same thing as the person before them.
