Everything has gone black.
I feel so alone.

I can hear voices somewhere in the distance.
So close.
So far away.

They taunt me.

Pull me closer before they too, dissapear.

When did this happen?

Forever ago and yesterday...
I am so afraid...

but wait...

Some one put a hand on my shoulder. I can hear them laugh.
Then suddenly say:

"Just open your eyes"

....And suddenly I see your face.

I see the sun,

and i am no longer afraid.

Now I choose to keep my eyes open.

wow. I read this once and it gave me chills. . . I read it a second time and it did it again. I'm not sure why I do that but I like this a lot.
