Endless night

If I could sleep
and never wake
an endless night
I would partake

to fill the void
within my heart
an endless night
I'd never part

another day
could destroy me
an endless night
would set me free

I cannot bare
to feel the pain
an endless night
I'd take in vain

forget this thing
that we call life
an endless night
begins with a knife.
