You all walk in the hallways,
I see you making fun of me.
Did you think I didn’t notice?
I did..
“look at him”
“I bet he has a weird family life”
“I bet he is messed up in the head”
well what if I am?
Do you really think you should be messing with me?
I could come to school with a gun,
And blow your fucking head off..
I’m not..
But you don’t know that..
So do you think it is wise to make fun of me?
Sure,
I may not be normal,
But who is?
The football captain?
The head cheerleader?
The geek that is on the chess team?
Or me?
No one is normal.
I am normal in my mind,
And the football star thinks he is..
We are all normal in our own way.
We all think we are normal.
But we aren’t..
The only way we are normal is that we are human.
But who knows,
Some of us might not even be that.
We could have a alien around us..
And not even know it.
But who knows?
Not me..
The alien’s might think they are normal.
But in a way,
We are all aliens.
It’s like we are from a different planet.
And no one speaks the same language.
But that is life for you.
In the end..
We all die as strangers.
Strangers who never know the truth.
We will never know..
We will never know what is normal..
People think,
Oh the jocks and cheerleaders are normal,
Everyone else,
Isn’t…
Well if that’s what you think,
I think your wrong.

Well normal is a crutch that must people lean on when they don't agree with a course of events. It is over used. I view people as imperfect, and in the throws of their imperfection they are perfect. Ever heard of too perfect? If your too perfect then your not 'perfect', and if your not 'perfect' then your imperfect. Same theory applies to normal.

Very nice. Too bad "normal" doesn't exist. This world's been fist fucked more times than a woman loose enough to be bent over and had a cruise-liner guided into her ass. The writing sort of reminds me of my entire childhood... at least I know someone else has been there.

Everyone in the world is messed up in their own way. If you want Normal, find someone messed up exactly the same way you are.

wow nice job....in the words of a good friend of mine....i dont think there is a normal/weird because if there was that would imply there would be no individuality, which there obviously is. Everyone is weird as hell in some way or another.

Thanx for the piece. You gave light to persons who have been labeled "weird" by so-called normal persons!

Strong message to the people. Though I am sure most will forget and move on with there lives. Thats how we live. Greed and power. We have to be higher in the food chain than someone else...

Isn't being normal just being boring anyway? Loved this work. (And yea, it is "you're" not "your".)

On Monday September 1st, 2003, Jonas (866) writes:
you are trying to say 'you think you are normal' so the proper way to spell that would be 'you think you're normal?'

I love your style. Normal. A contradiction within itselfs. If there's a basis for being normal, I sure as hell hope on the other side of the freakin moon from it!

Hmmm..how does one define normal in a society where there is so much different cultures and ideas? I don't really know..Look at it this way, if you in a crowd of darker ppl, the norm is wut? Black?..-Kefka

Hell, I don't think i'm normal. I take pride in it too. But yes, you are correct. People have no right to judge other people when they're basically just the same.

This is such a great piece with a great point, i mean your right, the "popular" people talk down on to the others but the others are the ones with guns in their daddys desk just screaming to be used...

Powerful stuff! There is no normal. And if you show them that you care what they think, you give them the power. Fuck them!!!

"I am normal in my mind" So many fail to think so, they succumb to what others would have them think. Excellent, this really caught my attention.
