I can not face the world today,
shot down by nervousness.
an ocean of emotion
the precipice of stress.

No one is there to catch me
if I slip and hit the ground.
Can anybody hear me scream.
If no one is around?

Outside a world of trouble.
Inside a broken soul.
Lost, a sense of courage.
fear of no control.

I rain the salts of pity
for myself, I almost drown
all my thoughts of hope cannot
contain this concrete frown
