theres nothing left
for me to say
no reason left
for me to stay
I've lost it all,
I'm numb inside
no words come out
I have tried
to write it right
it comes out wrong
my will to fight
was lost along
with inspiration
so I sit
grabbing my
last ounce of wit
to say goodbye
to the place
that I called home
in cyberspace
for many years
I've shed my tears
shared my humor
and my fears
to those that I will never know
you've helped me learn
and helped me grow
goodbye to you
you will be missed
I'll be forgotten
and dismissed
as just another former member
but I'll look back and remember
fondly how things used to be
when I was with darkpoetry.
