when i look at maps of my hometown,
all i see are roads leading out.

if i quit writing midsentence i'm sentenced
to forget what i was writing when i started
so best wishes to abandoned poetry
and the heavy-hearted...

the first link to any chain reaction is faith.

the best advice my mother gave was:

"if you can't find a place for it,

                      wear it."

thanks mom. i'm wearing it. and it's my
heart on my sleeve.

unless it be the weakest men
who believe the sword mightier than the pen,
who believes the evil is the fox in the hole,
not the spiderveins. darkness. knowledge. width.

being kind to animals is easy.
being kind to man takes patience...

auditory hallucination at will.

my imagination is my greatest ill

were i less curious, i'd stick to the written word

but sound is the strangest thing i've ever heard...

"keep track of your mind

you are always expanding"

i talk myself through the universe
and into understanding

i talk to everything.

go and go and go and go.

until my lithium battery fuel drains
recharge

the saints say dream
                and the future is ours

still, i always end up sleeping with animals
curled next to me.

and i write until my eyes close.

and pen drops.

I love the title. The way you play with words always makes me adore what you write. This was deep. It was a racing mind, inside of a collapsing moment. I loved it.

you are like the squarepusher of words... you make me breath.
