she goes by the name you gave her
i go buy a ticket home
go ahead hurt me. you can have her
i will walk these roads alone

it's a lie- you cannot save her
you can't even set down your phone
it's too much old news. i would rather
learn now than to not have known

i really hope you never forgave her
and all these lies get etched in stone
maybe someday you'll be braver
after you're cut down to the bone
