If you could what
I see
You would see someone who is
Beautiful inside and out.
You would see someone who
Deserves so much better than
I could ever give you, no matter
How you protest.

If you could see what I see
You would see someone who
Should never be held back
By my own insecurities.

Someone who will never now how
Much I love him.
So much that I need to push
You away
So as not to stain your soul
With my darkness

You are truly better than anyone
I've ever met.
You know me more than anyone
Yet I want you to have a better
Life than you could with me.

I don't know how to save you from me when
You won't let go!
