Ok I found this poem in my "archives"! LOL. Wrote it when I was 15. So here it goes....

Lost and all alone
Can't seem to find my way 'home'
How did I lose my way
And change so drastically
Today's a brand new day
Why can't I forget the past
Nothing seems to last
I feel tossed
About
Turned inside out
Like a tumbleweed
Blown around in a hot dry desert
I need someone to take my hand and lead
Me away from this mess.
To take me where there is no sadness.

Lead me away from my fucked up life
Take the noose off my neck that's choking me tight.
Help me find a better way
To see past what bad things may happen today
To a place where I don't have to see
The good things hiding in long deep shadows
Where I don't hit the lows
And bottom out
Where there is sunshine all about!!
