I will never forget
People in my life
I will always remember
This is my biggest curse
Having to live with these thoughts and feeling
Knowing they will never go away
Just eat away at me like a poison
Seeing this shadow
That always follows me where ever I go
Forever haunting in my dreams
I tried to rid this from my life
No matter how hard I try
No matter how hard I fight it
This shadow will never fade away
God will this shadow ever disappear
Will this shadow ever cease it’s torment
When will I be able to live in peace with myself
As much as I want this torment to stop
I know it never will
I tried once to cut this shadow off of me
As much as I want it to
It will never set me free
