Who said thoughts could not kill
Because mine are tearing me apart
Situations that I keep finding myself in
History always seems to repeat itself
Always trying to avoid them
When it’s just pointless
When my happiness returns
It always becomes thrown away
As this world rips my heart open
All I can do is sit there and watch
As my heart bleeds for something more
Wanting things to be ok
When I know things will stay the same
What the fuck is wrong with my head
All these thoughts are killing me
Things are never ok
Happiness is nothing more
Than a figment of your imagination
As you try to replace sadness with a smile
It only makes the pain worse
As you continue to hide it
It will grow bigger and bigger
Until finally
Your mind
Your heart
Your soul will explode and you will never again have control
These feelings that built up deep down inside you
Then when your heart still bleeds out for more
Something great
Something I could never have
