Trapped
In the sea
On the shore
Through the maze
In a haze
Of puffed smoke
Trapped
In a box
A red and jeweled box
Each touch
A shudder
Stunned
Rocked
What do I see
On my eyelids
Is it your eyes I see
Is it your lips I see
Is it your soul I see
I drink you in
Each night I die a little
Alone but there
I'm here
You're there
Your arms are here
I'm in them
And alone
You're not touching me
You're miles away
Every night I don't see you
I die a little
I wake to you
Your picture
On my wall
Every night I die a little
In the morning
I can see
I'm reborn in your eyes
It's just a photo
But I'm there
I'm here
We're here
In my mind
We're gold
And jeweled
And I die a little...and
I'm there
I'm there
