Trust must be earnt
Only fools give it
Time is the test
A sharp mind the pivot
Those burnt may be blessed
Many times they relive it
Second time round
Judgement more sound
Wool covers no eyes
Weakness hard found
A lookout for lies
In the land that surrounds
The coast is now clearer
Fewer the invaders
A line has been drawn
The border of betrayers
Pacing the fringe
But coming no closer
Peripheral vision
The need for precision
Hold the guard high
Danger in remission
Waiting to flare again
Look feel and listen
Practice what I preach
Learn what I teach
Rub salt on the suspect
Gone is the leech
And prepare yourself always
For the long awaited speech
