How could this be
It cant be
but it is
This is it
I finally have to give up
stop trying and settle for the hand I have been delt
It feels only as if a moment ago
that we embraced each other in all
mind
body
and soul
It feels as if you never left my side all these years
since the days we were freinds
It still hurts to hear your voice
to feel your soft calming touch within my hands
to see your perfect saphire eyes
as they glissen in the sun
And I still cry
under your picture that stand on my shelf
showing off your perfect self
I lay down
praying
wishing
even hopeing
that I was only dreaming
Still a'lass
I know the truth
the dreams are not dreams
The sun has set ages ago
Your smile frozen in a moment of tranquility
when we were both for that moment
one within each others worlds
