I walk of this earth, just like the rest
one foot first then the next
but my hands feet, and body feel as if a float
and I can clearly see them on the ground

I am alive, just like the rest
breathing, breeding, and feeding
but I can not be satisfied

I speak several words, just like the rest
gossip, news, the latest story,
but no response is returned
as if nothing was heard

I embrace things, just like the rest
objects, people and things
but all just slip right through me
and I can feel the pain as they do

I feel cold
I feel pain
I feel alone
I feel not of this world

Just like an incorporeal
lost within and among the millions
