I'd like to join you in the fire
And melt into you
Until we are one
I would burn for you
Til flesh is warped and mixed with metallic plastic
I wish there was a way
Remembering
The touch of your mahogany
And rosewood fingerboard
Broken metal frets that tear my fingers apart
And slithers of steel that caress me with their thin touch
Remembering
All the nights you never let me down
And your glossy silk finish
How your body looked as you layed there on the floor
Casting shadows on the wall
From the 3am candle light
I'd like to join you in this fire
And melt into you
Until we are one
I would burn for you
I wish there was a way
For all I can do is hold you
While you turn my fingers black
And lay with you
As I dream of all the places you will take me
